We value participating membership.

Although the term "church membership" is never used in the Bible, the concept is implicit in the New Testament.  Believers clearly identified themselves with a specific local body and were challenged to become devoted participants.  Lakewood membership is not about adding names to a list.  It is about discovering who we are and where we are headed as a body of believers.  Then, prayerfully considering bringing your unique gifts and talents and joining us on our journey.

To better assist you with this decision, we invite you to join us in Discover: Our Way of Life at Lakewood.  This class is the best place to learn about our church, our vision, and our core values.  Dr. Smiley leads this interactive class that will help you make this very important decision.
