How to Get Here
Overlooking beautiful Lake Lanier our 41 acre campus enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and our community. Lakewood Baptist is located just north of Atlanta in Gainesville and a few miles south of Dahlonega. As a regional church we have people coming from miles around to Worship here–many from surrounding counties.
Driving Directions
From I-85 N
- take I-985 N
- get off at exit 22 (Gainesville/Jefferson) & turn left onto 129 N
- continue on 129 N into Gainesville, when you pass the downtown area the road name will change from E.E. Butler Pkwy. to Green Street
- just after you pass the Civic Center on your right the road will split - take the left "fork" which is Route 60/Thompson Bridge Road
- Lakewood Baptist Church is approximately 1.5 miles on the left
From I-85 S
- take 129 N towards Gainesville
