Annual Conference
We had a great year of ministry reported in the Annual Conference Report booklet. I hope you will pick one up at our Information Centers and read all about it. We are extremely thankful for all that God used us to accomplish for His Kingdom this past year. We look forward to a great new year in each of our program ministries.
Stewardship Update
We are thankful for the consistent report on Lakewooders in regards to honoring God with His tithe, offerings and beyond in order to support our annual ministry budget. Our ministry budget this coming year will be a challenging one, but I’m sure together we will meet and exceed our ministry budget goals that enable us to serve Christ throughout our region.
Wednesday Night Live
Wednesday Night Live resumes August 13. There are activities for every member of the family! Stop by our Information Centers to pick up a booklet with a brief description of all opportunities available. Many of you may enjoy the Pastor’s Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
In an effort to accommodate your busy schedules, Michael Collinson, of Simply Elegant, will continue to prepare and serve our Wednesday Night Fellowship Meals beginning at 5:15 p.m. Reservations are required and should be made on the Thursday of the week before the meal by calling the church office.
Final Word
Thanks for your consistent love and support as your Senior Pastor. It is a joy to serve this church and especially to serve such a fine and dedicated staff. We are looking forward to a tremendous new year, and we trust that God will continue to bless Lakewood.
