 Play with a Purpose

    The Recreation Ministry of Lakewood Baptist Church is committed to developing fully devoted followers of Christ through the avenues of recreation and leisure.  We have the great honor and privilege in bridging relationships between members, guests, and community participants with the life saving power of Jesus Christ.

    The Recreation Ministry of LBC provides a non-threatening entry into the church for those who are looking for a place to worship.  It gives members, guests, and visitors opportunities to enjoy recreational activities and maintain their physical fitness in a Christian environment.

     The Recreation Ministry of LBC is about building relationships.  It is our goal to share God's love and truths, bridging the gap between us and Him.

 
Recreation Opportunities
 Sports

      Lakewood offers a large variety of team sports including Men's Basketball, Men's Flag Football, Men's & Women's Softball, Coed Softball and Volleyball.  We also offer opportunities for individual sports such as golf and tennis.


Family Activities

    In addition to the traditional sports activities, the recreation ministry co-hosts several family activities, including our Annual Pumpkin Fest and 4th of July Fireworks Celebration.

Softball Sign-Up!
Now through March 10

Spring softball sign-ups are open for men and women.  Stop by an information Center to sign up and pick up a registration form.  We are currently planning to have one men's team and one co-ed team.  If there is enough interest, we will try for an all ladies' team.
