Greg is currently serving as our Minister of Students. Greg is a North Georgia native, originally from Cornelia, GA.  He graduated from Habersham Central H.S. and then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Georgia.  After teaching high school for four years in Bradenton, FL, he answered the call to full-time ministry and received a Master's of Arts in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, NC.  He and his wife, Melanie Carr Lewallen, from St. Petersburg, FL have two sons, Corbin and Alden.  Greg gives leadership and vision to the student ministry team overseeing Middle School, High School, and College ministries at Lakewood.
